Events

Ulster Theatre Company produces, manages, writes, directs, choreographs or leads non building based events, festivals, celebrations and extravaganzas such as the Strabane Hiring Fair Pageants of 1995 and 1997,  ‘Half Hanged McNaghten’ in the Canal Basin open air ‘theatre’ in Strabane (1997), the Gilford Castle Fairey Festival (2000), the Croke Park GAA 125th anniversary All Ireland Club Finals on pitch spectacular (March 17th, 2009) and the ‘Greening of Lord Litter’ in Newry.

These events may be entirely professional, using actors, directors, designers, technicians and constructors from the professional theatre world or they may use a professional team to manage, write and direct/oversee a community project leading to a significant event.
